Nutrition and Dietetics

Nutrition and Dietetics prepares learners to advise on food and health in clinical, institutional and community settings. The course covers the principles of human nutrition and how the body uses nutrients, diet planning and meal management, maternal and child nutrition, community nutrition and food security, food safety and hygiene, and an introduction to therapeutic diets for common conditions. Practical sessions cover nutritional assessment and diet planning, and the attachment places learners in a facility or community programme.

Certification

Award: Certificate from CLIPS TECHNICAL COLLEGE upon successful completion.
