Animal Husbandry
Animal Husbandry trains learners to keep livestock productively and humanely, with an emphasis on the enterprises that matter most to Kenyan farmers: dairy cattle, poultry, goats, sheep and small stock. The course covers breed selection, animal nutrition and feed formulation, housing and welfare, breeding and reproduction, and the recognition and control of common diseases. Practical sessions and a field attachment build the handling confidence and record-keeping discipline that separate a hobby from a livestock business.
